NZ Accounting - Michael Fresnel - Credit Warning Update
This is to advise that the accounting company known as NZ Accounting is being run by one Michael Fresnel (aka Michael Weaver, aka Michael Levertoff). This man is in default of payment to a considerable number of creditors and is using every trick in the book to avoid putting matters right. He appears to have removed all reference to his true identity from his website. His activities are also being looked into by the Commerce Commission following a recently lodged complaint regarding misrepresentative advertising.
There are a couple of judgements against him by the Disputes Tribunal and others pending, and a Hamilton law firm is moving to have him adjudged bankrupt (again).

We advise that this man is in default of payment for label printing for his Liquid Smoke product (advertised on Trade Me) for an amount of $129.50. We suggest getting payment in advance when dealing with this man. He also deals in motor vehicles so be careful in any dealings with this defaulter.
NZ Accounting - Michael Fresnel - Michael Levertoff debacle
Well, (censored word) Hamilton accounting provider Michael Fresnel has been putting unfair pressure on the hosting provider of this web site, threatening a law suit for libel against them as the 'publisher' of the statements in my blogs in an attempt to supress these warnings. He has been threatening them with libel. Now, a libelous statement is one which is demonstrably untrue and it is only appropriate that we have laws to protect against this. However, any public statements made which are demonstrably TRUE will not be upheld under law as libelous. My lawyer has confirmed that this is the situation and a quick search of the web will yield reliable documentation to verify this.
Although Fresnel's threats against the web host company are just bluff and bluster, out of respect for and because of the long standing relationship with this service provider, and because they are, after all, not part of this nonsense with Fresnel / Levertoff (whatever he calls himself these days), I am removing the material from this page and publishing it elsewhere. I will continue to do this until he satisfies all of those to whom he is indebted. The truth will always win out so please follow the link below to read the original and subsequent articles.
Note, not only has he refused to pay suppliers for work don in every case satisfactorily, but also we have been contacted by a number of his accounting clients, several of whom have worful tales concerning NZ Accounting, the name Fresnel trades under.
