Are you are looking for a way to stay in your own home longer? Would good company, laughter and stimulating, fun activities help you achieve this? The Enliven Hawke’s Bay Day Programmes could be just what you’re looking for.

Offered in Waipawa, Hastings and Taradale the programme is focused on reconnecting older people with their communities, providing opportunities for social interaction and various activities and outings, and supporting you to achieve other goals.

The Day Programmes offer:

* A range of activities based on clients' interests and hobbies

* Individually prescribed physical activity programme

* Registered Nurse and Physiotherapist oversight

* Frequent outings, as well as opportunities to join other community groups for activities

* Transportation to and from the Day Programme, if required

* Morning and afternoon tea

* A choice of a hot meal and dessert

Homeshare is an established shared living programme which has been running successfully in the United States, across Europe and in Australia for over two decades. A single older person provides a younger person with accommodation with their own room In return for the accommodation the younger person (homesharer) helps with household tasks for up to 8 hours a week. An Enliven Homeshare Coordinator carefully matches both the older person and the younger person, After interviewing both parties and checking the younger person's references, both parties are introduced to each other. It is a safe service - all care and attention is taken to ensure a good 'match'.
